Just 12 minutes from Reno via I-580, at South Virginia Street and Longley Lane, SyRes Properties sees room for a new residential community. Syres Reno is planned as a multifamily apartment complex that will house 330 dwelling units, offering a place to live with easy access to the city.

Rather than a single large building, the plan spreads the community across ten three-story residential apartment buildings and a clubhouse building, in Type VB construction. That approach keeps the scale of each building modest while bringing a substantial number of homes to the site. Organizing those buildings, along with a mix of surface and garage parking for residents, into a cohesive and walkable whole is the central design task. BDE Architecture is partnering with SyRes Properties to arrange the buildings, parking and shared spaces so that the community works together as one place.

When complete, Syres Reno will give residents a separate clubhouse building and a fitness center building, along with a pool and landscaped area to enjoy year-round. It will add 330 homes to the Reno area in a setting designed around community and everyday convenience.
