Events at BDE Architecture

Supporting work-life balance and prioritizing employees' well-being are fundamental to our firm culture. We emphasize respect and inclusivity, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and contribute to the firm’s collective success. We believe in fostering staff’s growth through connection, collaboration, camaraderie, and learning, both inside and outside of the office.

  • Collage of images from an outdoor gathering: a drawing of a pizza with an avocado, a family of four with a child in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, a group of people sitting on a blanket with a dog, and a line of people waiting at a picnic area.

    San Francisco Office

As we begin to wave goodbye to summer and say hello to autumn, each of the BDE offices celebrated with some summer fun in the sun! From Chicago, to San Diego, to San Francisco, the BDE team celebrated in style. Chicago and San Francisco hosted picnics in the park, while the San Diego team enjoyed their picnic from a boat! Regardless of location, it was wonderful spending time with our fellow BDE team members along with their families, friends, and pets – fun times were had by all! (Summer 2024)

  • Group of friends enjoying a day sailing on a boat in the water, with some smiling and relaxing. The scene includes a sailboat with its sails up, and a sunset in the background on the water.

  • Corporate Events

In September 2024, BDE attended the annual Housing Industry Foundation Summit in San Jose. BDE is a proud sponsor of this amazing non-profit organization that helps individuals and families remain in or return to stable housing through their Homeless Prevention Programs including Emergency Housing Funds, Renovation Programs and Affordable Housing Initiatives. It was a wonderful night celebrating 35 years of immense accomplishments and the community coming together for a common cause.

  • Group photos of people building a sandcastle and participating in a beach event, including one group with a large sand sculpture and another with people wearing matching navy shirts with a logo, on a sunny beach.

    Annual Sandcastle Competition

BDE participated in the Annual LEAP Sandcastle Competition hosted on Ocean Beach in San Francisco, CA. This year's theme was "out of this world" . BDE, in partnership with BUILD Group, DCI Engineers, and students from DeMarillac Academy, connected two worlds with a space-sand bridge.
