Reno Riverfront | Reno, NV

Downtown Reno's waterfront along the Truckee River is an up-and-coming neighborhood, ready for more people and more activity. Pacific Development envisions Reno Riverfront, a development of 388 homes on East 2nd Street that will bring additional life and pedestrian traffic to the area.

The site sits at a prominent intersection in Reno's bustling downtown, so the building has to work at two scales: as a home for hundreds of residents and as a good neighbor at street level. Standing five stories tall in Type IIIA and IA construction, it wraps around a central parking garage, keeping cars out of sight while the homes look outward over the Truckee River and beyond. At the ground floor, retail space with floor-to-ceiling glass is designed to draw shoppers in from the street. As the designer of the project, BDE Architecture is guiding Pacific Development in shaping this mix of homes, retail and parking into one building.

When it opens, Reno Riverfront will put the best of Reno within reach of its residents, with walkable access to restaurants, nightlife and the Truckee riverfront, and new storefronts that help energize a growing downtown neighborhood.
