YBI Residences | Yerba Buena Island | San Francisco, CA
Set in the San Francisco Bay, Yerba Buena Island looks out on the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge and Downtown San Francisco. Wilson Meany is shaping a new San Francisco neighborhood here: luxury for-sale hillside townhomes and podium flats, a clubhouse, and parks and habitat spaces surrounding it all.
Creating a neighborhood from the ground up on an island hillside is a complex undertaking. The plan spans 25 buildings with 80 townhomes and 106 flats, offering a variety of floorplans across three- and four-story townhomes and flats in Type I A and III A construction. The design by Hart Howerton and the interiors by Meyer Davis call for careful stewardship at every step. As Executive Architect of the entire project, BDE Architecture is guiding the team through Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Bidding and Construction Administration.
The vision is a collection of boutique luxury homes where the Bay becomes part of daily life. As the neighborhood takes shape, residents will be surrounded by parks and habitat spaces, with views reaching across the water to the bridges and the downtown skyline.
